Ambience was superb service exceptional a wonderful experience. My overseas guests were enchanted to experience a traditional hostelry. We will certainly visit again

With friends visiting for Mad Dog weekend, and having a voucher from Christmas to use, we opted for the Hesketh Arms in Churchtown for our Saturday evening meal. We were far from disappointed, as everything from the online booking system to the actual food was excellent. The service was first class and the pub is a characterful little gem.

We were late making a booking but it was so easy to book online and we got a confirmation straight away. Everything was excellent and we will definitely be going again soon.

Had lunch here for the first time in years. Pre booked the table . Great food , lovely waitress not rushed at all. It was a bit quiet in the restaurant I didn&rsquo;t notice any background music. . Would definitely return.

Went for a meal with friends and the food was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was nice and we could hear each other talking. The staff where very attentive and friendly.
